Nearly 40 area restaurants will be dishing out their signature specialties at Comerica CityFest today through Sunday. A dozen new restaurants including Longhorn Steakhouse of Westland, Mookey's Beans and Greens of Southfield and Vicente's Cuban Cuisine in Detroit are participating. Cold Stone Creamery anchors the dessert district on the eastern edge of CityFest with café-style seating.

At CityFest, tickets for food are 11 for $7. Taste-size portions require 2-5 tickets, sample sizes are 6-10 tickets and main meals are 11 to 14 tickets.

Here's what restaurants are serving. (Some menu items may change.):

AMERICAN FAVORITES

Aw...Shucks, Elk Rapids. Roasted sweet corn with hot butter and assorted spices.

The Coney Man, New Center One, Detroit. Italian or Polish sausage, chicken strips, red hot coney dogs and chili cheese fries.

Happy's Pizza, Detroit. Pizza and wing dings.

Heavenly Chicken and Waffles, Detroit. Chicken and a waffle; strawberry, cinnamon or chocolate chip waffle; grilled chicken salad; and potatoes sautéed in garlic butter and onion salt.

Fun Foods Inc., Warren. Strawberry, banana, pina colada (non-alcoholic) and watermelon smoothies. Frozen lemonade. Frozen orange cream soda and blue-raspberry.

Longhorn Steakhouse, Westland. Cheesesteak sandwich, renegade sirloin and jalapeno coleslaw.

The Melting Pot, Troy. Chocolate-covered strawberries, chicken breast Mojo style and teriyaki sirloin.

Mountain Jack's Steakhouse, Troy. Tri-tip sirloin, steak burger, Oriental salad and potato salad.

The Potato Factory, Southgate. Ribbon-style cut potatoes with melted cheddar cheese, bacon bits and chives; or without toppings.

BARBECUE

Club House Tavern, Detroit. Jerk chicken, curry chicken, clubhouse pork chop sandwich, red beans and rice, steamed Jamaican cabbage and vegetables.

Damon's Grill, Ann Arbor. Baby back ribs, prime rib sandwich, 1/2 barbecue chicken and loaded baked potato.

Kola's Food Factory, Riverview. Smoked rib tips, deep-fried andouille sausage, pulled pork parfait with baked beans and coleslaw, deep-fried hot dogs called rippers with toppings.

Lazybones Smokehouse, Roseville. Carolina pulled-pork sandwich, applewood smoked spare ribs, coleslaw and grilled honey barbecue shrimp.

Old Hickory, Linden. Barbecue chicken sandwich, Italian and Polish sausage and curly fries.

Unique Creations, Detroit. Jerk ribs, stuffed seafood bell peppers, barbecued sweet plantains and portobello lasagna.

ETHNIC

American Masala of Detroit and Masala Express in Rochester Hills. Chicken tikka masala, plaka paneer, pakora, lamb curry and samosa.

Chan's Café, Pembroke Pines, Fla. Grilled chicken on a stick, seafood stir-fry, veggie lo main, shrimp or veggie fried rice.

LaPita Restaurant, Dearborn. Chicken schwarma, falafel sandwich, kafta or chicken kebab, hummus and house salad.

Mario's Italian Restaurant , Detroit. Italian sausage, beef or chicken kebab; barbecued pork tenderloin and Italian chicken wings.

Olympian Café, Ford Field, Detroit. Gyro, chicken gyro sandwich, spinach pie with rice pilaf, fries, baklava.

Peacock Restaurant, Dearborn. Vegetable samosa, eggplant pakora, aloo chat (cut potatoes fried with lemon and spices), paneer curry, chicken or lamb curry served with rice and chicken tikka.

Rice Bowl Asian Kitchen, Detroit. General Tso's Chicken, Asian barbecue chicken, sweet-sour chicken, shrimp or vegetable fried rice

Taqueria Mi Pueblo, Detroit. Chicken or beef quesadilla, burritos, carnitas, tamales, chips, guacamole and salsa.

Taste of Ethiopia, Southfield. Spicy lentils, split peas, collard greens with couscous and vegetable samosas. All dishes are vegan.

The Turkey Grill, Detroit. Cajun fried turkey bites, smoked turkey legs, turkey burger and peach cobbler.

Under the Eagle, Hamtramck. Pierogi, stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes and dill pickle soup.

Vicente Cuban Cuisine, Detroit. Cuban sandwich, black beans and rice, arroz con pollo and chicken empanadas, and fruit cocktail.

Zumba Mexican Grille, Royal Oak. Beef, chicken and bean (vegetarian) tacos, bowl-rito -- a burrito in a bowl without the tortilla served with tortilla chips or plain tortillas -- chips, guacamole and salsa.

FISH AND SEAFOOD

Harbor House, Clinton Twp. Beer-battered shrimp, crab cakes, fresh battered fish and chips and shrimp jambalaya.

Union Jacks, Mt. Clemens. British-style fish and chips, coleslaw and deep-fried Mars bars.

SOUL FOOD

Beans & Cornbread, Southfield. Firecracker shrimp, fried catfish, hoppin' John, fried okra, red beans and rice, and cornbread.

Bert's on Broadway, Detroit. Ribs, Oh My God Burger, hot sausage links, Jamaican jerk chicken and Texas baked beans.

Mookey's Beans and Greens, Oak Park. Fried chicken wings, barbecued chicken wings, collard greens, mac and cheese, fried okra and cornbread.

DESSERTS

Alinosi Ice Cream and Candy, Detroit. Ice cream cones, sundaes and hot fudge cream puff.

Casey's New York Style Ice, St. Clair Shores. Authentic hand-dipped Italian ice.

Centaur Bar, Detroit. Cheesecake lollipops, lemon melba bars, bananas Foster brownie, chocolate truffles with a cinnamon and espresso dusting, and fresh fruit medley served with mint/ginger yogurt and chocolate.

Cold Stone Creamery, various local locations. Ice cream in assorted flavors.
