Wow! This is one wild closet. Wayne State University's Hilberry Theatre (4743 Cass in Detroit) is presenting "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," the story of four kids who walk through a closet and accidentally discover a scary new world, a wicked witch and a lion who is anything but cowardly. 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. $5. 313-577-2972. www.theatre.wayne.edu/hilberry. Science, slot cars and Hula-Hoops. Cool stuff for kids at the Comerica CityFest 2007 Kid Zone (in the parking lot of the Fisher Building, 3011 W. Grand Blvd in Detroit). You'll find slot car competitions, make-and-take crafts, a petting zoo, live music, temporary tattoos, hands-on science experiments (starring Silly Putty) and Hula-Hoop demonstrations and giveaways. It's Thunder Over Michigan 2007 on Saturday and Sunday at the Yankee Air Museum at Willow Run Airport (Ecorse and Beck Roads, Belleville). Watch historic military planes and jets (in cream puff condition) strut their stuff in midair, then take tours of the parked planes, talk to the pilots and catch the Navy's Blue Angels aerobatic air show at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the gate.
