LOCATION
Comerica Cityfest is located in Detroit's New Center 3 miles north of downtown Detroit. The Festival is outdoors on West Grand Boulevard between Woodward Avenue and the Lodge Freeway
(M-10).
New Center landmarks include the Fisher Building and Cadillac Place, which is the former General Motors Building.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
CityFest is just blocks from four major freeways: Lodge
(M-10), Jeffries (I-96), Chrysler (I-75), & Ford (I-94).

PUBLIC TRANSIT
You can use both SMART and DDOT buses to get to Comerica Cityfest, which takes place on West Grand Boulevard just one block west of Woodward Avenue, a major bus route. For DDOT's trip planner, CLICK HERE. For the SMART trip planner, CLICK HERE.
PARKING
There are low cost parking spaces adjacent to the festival all five days of Comerica CityFest courtesy of General Motors, the Farbman Group, Henry Ford Health System, Jones Lang LaSalle, Lothrop Parking Deck, & Woodward Parking Co. Watch for CityFest parking signs all around the festival site. Handicap parking is available on the first floor of all parking decks.
ADMISSION
There is no admission fee to attend the Comerica Cityfest, and all shows are free and open to the public. For everyone's safety, Comerica Cityfest guests are asked to leave non-guide dogs, other pets, rollerblades, skateboards, and bikes at home.
TASTE TICKETS
There is a charge for all food or beverage purchased at the Comerica Cityfest. Only official 2008 Comerica Cityfest tickets can be used for these purchases. Taste tickets are sold only at ticket booths located throughout the festival at a cost of $10 for 16 tickets. Ticket booths accept cash only.
Only Taste tickets may be used to purchase food or beverage. Restaurants and beverage booths cannot accept cash.
Please note that coolers and carry ons are not allowed on the festival premises.
FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN
The Comerica CityFest has lots to offer children from noon to 6 p.m. in our Tot Lot and around New Center Park.
Families with strollers might find it easier to move through the festival site earlier in the day (11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.). Changing tables are located in the Fisher Building restrooms.
RESTROOMS
Public restrooms are located in the Fisher Building and New Center One, but lines can be longest there. We encourage visitors to consider using the outdoor port-o-johns. We've got a crew assigned to keep them in great shape all weekend.
HANDICAP ACCESS
The Comerica Cityfest site is accessible to everyone, but it does become more crowded at certain times of the day. Folks in wheel chairs might find it easier to move through the festival earlier in the day (11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.).
Restrooms in the Fisher Building and New Center One are wheel chair accessible, as well as a limited number of outdoor port-o-johns. Handicap parking is available on the first floor of all the parking decks.
FESTIVAL PRODUCER
The Comerica CityFest is produced by the New Center Council, Inc., a 501(c) 3 charitable organization. Proceeds from the festival support the Council's activities year-round.
